The Mini Field Machine is small, light and very tough. Here at ACM we have packed a 700 mA potentiostat, a 700 mA auto ranging ZRA, an 18 bit sweep generator, two 24 bit ADC's, a DSP, a powerful battery, a DC:DC converter and an isolated interface into an underwater diver's case, strong enough to drive over with a Land Rover yet as small as a lunch box.
We provide all the popular DC tests of Cyclic Voltammetry, Linear Polarisation Resistance, Potentiostatic, Current & Voltage Noise, plus the Sequencer and Analysis. The Mini Field Machine has all the precision and accuracy of a laboratory instrument but can be used anywhere, in any weather.
One application of this instrument is at fit and forget locations. A small single board PC and GSM phone are optionally fitted into the case by us. The phone rings out a few times a day (or week, you decide) and contacts the internet to upload any data collected and download any new sequence instructions. At a separate location you can contact the same web site and download the data or upload a new measurement sequence. No more lengthy visits to the monitoring site, just reliable and simple monitoring using the latest technology.
